Sure thing, here goes…

So, okay, GTA 6 dropped its second trailer, finally. And, wow, there’s just, like, this hurricane of new details and glimpses of its characters and this whole world of Leonida. Maybe you caught something super intriguing while watching? ‘Cause, people are buzzing about a hint that we might get to play classic GTA games within GTA 6 itself.
But whoa, put the brakes on that excitement ’cause it’s not until May 26, 2026, that we’ll get the full scoop. Thanks to delays or whatever. But speculating wildly is what we’ll be doing till then, huh? Keeps the hype alive!
So, yeah, here’s the thing. Right around the 2:14 mark in the trailer, there’s a scene with Jason and Lucia just chilling at their place. Before Lucia, in this kinda slow-motion potato-sack style, flops onto Jason, check out what they’re watching on their TV.
Forget the big ad for Phil’s Ammunation for a sec and look left of their TV. Spot it? Bam, there’s a PS5 in the corner! Well, not exactly — it’s more like PS5’s twin that’s somehow royalty-free and sporting this black and white combo with some blue lights.
Is it sneaky-peeking at a PS6? Yeah, nah, probably not. Let’s roll with it being a NayStation or something, LOL.
So, having seen that console and its controllers, folks are totally adding “play games in a game” to their GTA 6 wishlist. Not a wild idea, since, I mean, Yakuza games have jammed in SEGA arcades, and GTA Online tossed in parody arcade games in its arcades too.
But fans now? They’re dreaming bigger. Like, “What if Vice City is emulated in-game,” someone named PastorPoppyseed threw out on a subreddit chat about the not-PS5. And then AveryLazyCovfefe pipes up, like, if they can play GTA 3, they’ll bail on exploring Leonida to replay Claude’s tale.
Then there’s Jason being some relatable dude. “Muscular MLG gamer who gets with thick Latinas? Dude’s basically me,” said someone. Sure, buddy, sure.
Anyway, what did you think of that trailer? Are you crossing fingers and toes that GTA 6 sneaks in some classic GTAs? Drop your thoughts below!
