The team has noted that reaching the Champion rank was more challenging than expected, prompting possible changes in Season 15. While the introduction of a new hero in Season 15 is uncertain, Keller mentions that a new character with mobility features similar to those released in 2024 is in the works.

The 2025 roadmap for Overwatch 2 is already packed with plans. Keller notes that there will be new systems for Competitive play announced soon, and the Drives will continue throughout the year. While Clash mode is being removed from Competitive play due to unbalanced matches reported by players, it will remain in Quick Play.
