Each week, y’know, Sony throws some fresh stuff at all of us PlayStation folks. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, the VR stuff, and even PlayStation Plus. So much I can hardly keep track – I mean, seriously, who has time for it all? But hey, if you’re like me and want to know what’s what, here’s the lowdown from PlayStation LifeStyle. They basically snoop around the PlayStation Store updates globally. Every. Single. Tuesday. So make it a regular stop, maybe?
North American Scene – What’s Up?
April and the PlayStation Plus Essentials – A Mixed Bag, Honestly
Okay, so here’s the deal for April:
- Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4) – Um, Digimon’s still a thing? Didn’t think I’d see this again.
- RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5) – RoboCop! I might be excited or maybe scared? Who knows.
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4/PS5) – Now this… this I didn’t expect. Doesn’t sound cozy at all, but whatever floats your boat.
PSVR Games – Crickets, Basically
On the PS4 & PS5 Side – A Whirlwind of Randomness
- 1-2-Fantastic Word Search! – Word search on a console? Why not, right?
- 9th Dawn Remake – Remake of… something?
- AGENT 07 – SPY REVENGE – Feels James Bond-ish. Or not.
- Airplane Racing Championship – Zoom zoom! (or just a glorified flight sim?)
- Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy – Don’t remember this explorer, but sounds old-timey.
- ANNIE: Last Hope – Poor Annie, guess she needs help?
- Arcade Archives PINBALL ACTION – For when pinball is life, I guess.
- Army Bus Driving Simulator – Really? Someone thought we needed this?
And on it goes, with shenanigans like “A Blackout Protocol Report” (government secrets?), "Cat From Hell – Cat Simulator" (this one’s self-explanatory, I think), and get this – Cooking Companions. Because who doesn’t want to cook with friends who may or may not actually exist?
- Forza Horizon 5 – Out of left field, right?
- Fruit Collector – Bags of fruit = one serious job.
- Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption – Sounds intense but who’s got the scoop?
- Pixel Retro Drift – Arcade Car Racing – Retro wave hits again!
- And let’s not overlook, uh, WEED DRUG EMPIRE – Subtle.
Each game more curious than the last. Feels like a grab bag of fun. Or confusion. Maybe both? Anyway – can’t even remember where I was going with this. Oh yeah, next we’ll move into Europe’s scene – if you’re intrigued enough to follow along. Go on, have a gander if you dare.
