Diablo 4 just dropped some news about a big update that’s coming up soon, and honestly, it’s a mix of all sorts—buffs, tweaks, and bug squashes. If you’re into the game, you probably know what I mean. The update’s landing on July 15, and it’s the first one out of the gate since Season 9 kicked off. By the way, they call this season “Sins of the Horadrim” — sounds intense, right?
Anyway, just a couple weeks back, on July 1 to be exact, Season 9 launched and brought all sorts of new things. Think new story twists and bringing back Astaroth but with fresh moves. Oh, and they tossed in Horadric Spells and Strongrooms too. I mean, who comes up with these names?
Hang on, I’m jumping ahead. Back to the update! They’re cranking up the power for every class. Yeah, all six of ’em. Barbarians especially are getting a huge boost. Couldn’t tell you why they need it, maybe they just like swinging those big weapons around?
Plus, there’s some quality-of-life stuff thrown in there. Like in the Sins of the Horadrim, Horadric Arcana picks up on its own now, so no more fiddling around. Plus, in Nightmare Dungeons, they’ve reduced channel time on Horadric Artifacts. Yes, my friend, less standing around like a dummy waiting.
And bugs? Tons of them fixed too. You know those times where quests glitch or enemies go AWOL? They’ve nailed a bunch of those down. Speaking of enemies, treasure goblins not showing up in certain places? Yep, they got that too.
Oh, almost forgot—if you’re a fan, you can snag a new transmog item just by kicking back and watching some streamer play Diablo 4 for, like, three hours on Twitch. Grab the Glensoul Arbalest for your Rogue characters before July 19. Easy peasy.
Anyway, that’s all the buzz for now. Who knows what will shake out once the update goes live? Maybe everything gets better, or maybe… well, let’s hope it doesn’t crash and burn. Alright, off to play!
