So, I stumbled upon this PlayStation update thing the other day. I mean, every week, Sony’s out there dropping new stuff for PlayStation 4, PS5, VR, and all that jazz. Kind of cool, actually, if you’re into gaming. They round up all these updates from around the world, like a party but, you know, digital. Anyway — oh! — they say to check back every Tuesday. Guess they like routine.
North America, Baby!
What’s New in May’s PlayStation Plus?
Okay, so May’s got some interesting additions for the PlayStation Plus Essential, or something like that. Here’s what you get:
- ARK: Survival Extended — both PS4 and PS5
- Balatro — for both consoles too
- Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun — because one version isn’t enough
And then, we dive into this whole list of games:
- Aidan In Danger — sounds intense, right?
- Amazing Weekend 2: Search and Relax Collector’s Edition — relaxing while hunting… or something
- Arcade Archives RYUKYU — classic feel, maybe?
- Around the World 3: Amazing Countries Collector’s Edition — travel meets gaming. Yeah, right.
- ASTBALL — whatever that means
- Blades of Fire — swords? Fire? Both?!
- BOMBARDINO CROCODILO vs TUNG TUNG SAHUR — Seriously, who names these?
- Boomerang King — return to sender?
- Casual Sport Series: Badminton — I guess badminton needed representation?
And that’s just scratching the surface, believe me. I mean, there’s everything from “CrimeBound Chronicles” to “FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time.” Stealing time? Maybe that’s my new hobby.
Anyway, there’s a game literally called “Ice Cream Super Stacking Slot Machine.” What even is that? A fantasy slot twist, I guess.
But wait — before I get lost — is it me, or does “Duck Detective: The Secret Salami” sound like some fever dream involving poultry and deli meats? Totally surreal.
Next up: Europe! But, maybe I’ll check that out later… or not. Who knows.
