Sure thing, here it goes:

So, Codemasters might be tossing F1 racing over to the Nintendo Switch 2. Yep, I know, it sounds like we’re talking about ancient history because, really, when was the last time F1 was on a Nintendo thingy? Oh yeah, 14 years ago. Wow, time really does fly. Or maybe it just rolls on by, like those fancy F1 cars. Anyway, they’re thinking about it… maybe, sort of, who knows. It’s all hush-hush, early days. F1 25 is still revving up for a debut on May 30. Excited? Skeptical? Both?
This franchise, man, it’s been around forever, huh? Started with F1 2000, and way back then they dumped a whole load of games out at once—F1 Manager, Championship Season 2000. Did someone hit the turbo button on a time machine? Anyway, these games just keep coming, reliably chugging out a new one every year since ’09. And F1 25 is next on the grid.
Now, Gavin Cooper, he’s the big cheese on the F1 creative team, let slip they’re having brainy chats over at Codemasters HQ about the Switch 2. You know, weighing possibilities, thinking, “Does this thing sing for F1 games, or what?” It’s not like they’ve given the green light or anything. Gavin’s just giving a nudge and a wink about them considering it.
Oh, and remember those Nintendo days? F1 had a bit of a flirt with the Wii back in the day with F1 Race Stars. And yeah, F1 Manager 2024 snuck onto the Switch. But the last real deal version? F1 2011 on 3DS. Nintendo lovers must be feeling like they’re in a bit of a time warp.
However, on the flip side, maybe Codemasters should sit tight for a while. I mean, F1 24 didn’t exactly set the track ablaze with glowing reviews. Mixed bag, for sure. Critics had a bit of a field day, poking at those mid-race objectives. Will F1 25 veer back on track? Early access might spill the beans soon enough.

And hey, keep an eye on the horizon. Codemasters might just surprise us all. Or not, who knows?
