Alright, so here’s the deal. I somehow stumbled onto the trailer for this game called FAST Fusion — yeah, they slapped “fast” right in the name, so they’re clearly not trying to hide anything. This speedster is heading our way on the Nintendo Switch 2. And it’s screaming fast. Like, blink-and-you-miss-it fast. What’s wild is this isn’t their first rodeo; they had some other ones on the Wii U and the first Switch — didn’t catch those? Honestly, me neither.
So the gist — you grab these wild, futuristic rides with some kind of gravity-defying jump tech. It’s a whole thing. Imagine racing through, I don’t know, snowy mountaintops or some sci-fi skyscraper cityscape, and you’re hitting these jumps — 60 frames per second, 4K HDR. The kind of stuff that makes your eyeballs do a double take. Why 4K? Who am I kidding; it just sounds cool.
They say you can race with three pals, which sounds like chaos waiting to happen. Antigravity jumps, they call ’em. I mean, I can’t even picture it, but it makes me think of those sci-fi movies where cars flip upside-down. Maybe that’s what it is? Or maybe not. Anyway, there’s some “vehicle fusion” magic going on too. Mix and match your rides to create… something. Probably not a flying toaster, but one can dream.
The landscapes — forests, mountains, with some urban jungle vibes. Redwood Forest? Cool. Alpine peaks? Even cooler. Toss in those motion controls and HD Rumble — hands shaking like holding a buzzing phone on caffeine overload. I’m guessing you can tweak the buttons, too — ’cause who can ever find the right setup on the first go, right?
June 5, 2025, they say. Pop it on your calendar if that’s your thing. Not sure how they’re hyping the trailer — maybe with a blast of colors and a thumping soundtrack? Could be. Maybe not. Who knows. Check it out if you’re curious or if fast, flashy things are your jam. Me? I might take a peek — if my brain can keep up.
