Man, so there’s this movie buzzing around—summer flicks and all that. And now it’s shaking hands with Monopoly Go. Yeah, Marvel and Scopely are in cahoots to toss The Fantastic Four into the game. Weird combo? Maybe. But here we are.
Anyway, seems like last September they did something similar. Now it’s kicking off on a Sunday. July 13, mark your calendars. Or don’t. Up to you.
So, picture this: Marvel’s First Family dropping into Monopoly Go with all these in-game bells and whistles. The game kinda morphs, you know? Like when you wake up and suddenly coffee tastes different. New challenges, mini-games, inspired by the foursome. Intrigued yet? Nah? Well, here’s more:
Got this thing called Fantastic Racers, which sounds like a wild ride—think Tycoon Racers, but with retro, souped-up Fantasti-Cars. Herbie’s there, cheering, and something about Doctor Doom. Because why not?
Oh, and there’s this Fantastic Partners Event. You and your pals can gather Fantasticoins. Love that name, for some reason. Anyway, you get to hang with Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Thing. All the gang, I guess.
Don’t miss the Fantastic Treasures either. You’ll find Reed’s lab (Reed’s that stretchy guy, right?) where you stumble on stuff like the Ultimate Nullifier and Silver Surfer’s board. Random finds, but whatever.
Right, there’s a Deluxe Drop. Sounds fancy. Fantastic Four-themed add-ons to plaster over everything. Tokens, emojis, shields… the whole shebang. Got a collectible itch? Scratch it.
Oh, before I forget, there’s this Aqua Partners thing wrapping up before this craziness starts. So if you’re up for it, jump on that train. Or, you know, skip it. There’s a guide, too. Monopoly Go Dice Links or something, if that’s your thing.
Anyway, that’s the gist. Maybe Marvel and Monopoly are the new peanut butter and jelly. Or maybe not. I’m just here writing about it.
