Okay, so I just need to spill my thoughts about, well, all the Pokémon stuff going on. Big Pikachu’s got quite the chatter going around, huh?
Honestly, where do I even begin? I guess Pokémon Presents was crammed full, but let’s dive in! Oh, did you hear about that new game “Pokemon Friends”? Apparently, it slipped onto the iOS App Store before they even said anything. Oops! It’s one of those puzzle games. You gotta build Pokémon plushes. Plus, they’re sneaking in those extra puzzles you can buy. Because, of course, why not? And it’s up on the eShop now for like, ten bucks or something. Just in case you’re interested.
Oh, and this is wild—2025 World Championships in Anaheim. Who knew? My guess is the Honda Center is gearing up for it. And yeah, it’s that place where the Anaheim Ducks play. Some serious hockey vibes going on there.
Then there’s this thing with Pokémon Concierge on Netflix. Season two kicks off on September 4th, or so they say. And wait a minute—am I the only one kinda excited about that Aardman series? You know, the folks behind Wallace & Gromit. They’re doing something with Sirfetch’d & Pichu, but that’s more of a “stay tuned till 2027” deal. Patience is a virtue, I guess?
Switching gears again (because why not), Tokyo’s getting a PokePark Kanto in 2026. I’m picturing all sorts of anniversary madness. And Pokémon Masters EX is adding a character from Scarlet and Violet DLC on July 30th. Make a note of it if you’re into that.
Meanwhile, Pokémon Cafe Remix is tossing us into some ocean-themed party with Lapras and Totodile. Starting today! And Latias is joining the Pokémon Unite lineup on August 8. Also—Electrode Volleyball? That’s a thing now, apparently.
Oh, and they flashed some new cards from the Mega Evolution set. Probably already snatched up by now. And tomorrow, guess what? Raid battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are happening! We gotta nail down those Treasures of Ruin. Million times or something to snag shiny versions. If that doesn’t scream “dedication,” I don’t know what does.
So, Pokémon Champions lets you rent Pokémon, which sounds oddly convenient, and they’re making it a breeze to tweak those Pokémon, right in the 2026 release. But hey, they’re still sticking with Pokémon Home. Loyalty, or something like that.
Man, that was a lot. Anyway, catch you on the flip side, trainers!
