Blizzard finally got around to setting a date for Diablo 4’s next livestream. Yeah, I know — about time, right? The spotlight’s on Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim. With the season launching soon, it’s high time for a sneak peek. Or maybe it’s not really a sneak since they showed bits during the Season 9 PTR thing in May? Whatever, let’s dive in.
This big ol’ livestream shindig is on Friday, June 27. Normally, Blizzard does these on Thursdays, or even earlier sometimes — go figure. But this time, it’s a Friday. So, if you’re game, you can catch it at 11 am PT, 2 pm ET, or 7 pm BST. They’re hosting it everywhere — YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, TikTok. Basically, if there’s a screen, they’re on it.
So, what’s up? Well, they’re giving us a last glance at Sins of the Horadrim, which officially drops on June 30. We’ll peek at the new questline, see what’s up with the battle pass, and dive into the Horadric Spellcraft mechanic, Escalating Nightmares — lots of juicy stuff. Plus, find out what’s changed since the PTR feedback. Not sure why I care, but I kinda do.
Something kinda cool-ish: they’re changing the way higher-level gameplay balance works. I didn’t even know it was out of whack, but hey, balance is good. Diablo team members will be there (hopefully not just rambling on), and there’ll be a Q&A at the end — a chance to toss some questions their way.
Post-show, there’s a Sanctuary Sitdown chat with community host Nacho and Aislyn Hall. I imagine it’ll be a chill session where they scratch their heads together about the new season and answer Discord questions.
